A Historic Manor Surrounded By Working Vineyards

Avorixa Manor | Vineyard Cottages Near Belmarin

There is a quieter side to Belmarin, and you'll find it just above the valley. Avorixa Manor brings together nine traditional stone cottages, a working vineyard, and a cellar where good meals are shared around one long table. Come for a few days or stay a little longer. The countryside is right outside your door, and the town is only twelve minutes away.

The Character Of Avorixa

An Old Vineyard Estate With A Life Of Its Own

Avorixa Manor wasn't originally designed as a holiday destination. For generations, this hillside has been shaped by vineyard work, changing seasons, and the families who tended the land. Eleven hectares of established vines stretch across the southern slope, while the original press house has stood here since 1912. Nine cottages, once used by harvest workers and their families, have been restored one at a time to preserve the character of the estate.

From the manor, the town of Belmarin is an easy walk downhill. Its market square, two theatres, independent restaurants, and licensed gaming venues offer different ways to spend an afternoon or evening. Reaching the centre takes around twelve minutes, while the uphill walk back takes approximately twenty.

What makes Avorixa Manor appealing is the contrast. You can spend the morning outdoors, enjoy a meal in town, and return to the kind of quiet that is difficult to find in a busy hotel district. With only nine cottages on the property, the experience remains personal and unhurried.

Breakfast And Shared Meals In The Cellar

The cellar is more than a place to eat. Beneath its old vaulted ceiling, mornings begin with breakfast, while three evenings each week bring guests together around the long dining table. A tasting bench now occupies the space where wine barrels once stood, offering a small reminder of the estate's working history.
